BIOGRAPHY
 

DES PHEMMES was founded in 2020 by Salvo Rizza, a designer born in Germany and raised between Sicily and Milan. After studying fashion design at Istituto Marangoni and gaining experience with luxury and couture fashion houses such as Giambattista Valli and Armani, Rizza developed a distinctive creative vision shaped by contrast: minimalism and sensuality, structure and emotion, everyday wear and couture craftsmanship.

Born from his desire to tell a story of his own, DES PHEMMES became an intimate visual language inspired by the women in his life, his Sicilian heritage, personal memories, and cultural references ranging from 90s photography and cinema to archival Prada, Helmut Lang, and Calvin Klein imagery.

At the heart of the brand is a contemporary idea of femininity: fluid, complex, instinctive, and never one-dimensional. The collections combine clean, refined silhouettes — oversized shirts, pencil skirts, slip dresses, and tailored outerwear — with artisanal embellishments, tie-dye treatments, crystals, embroidery, and couture-inspired techniques.
